Complete Filter Teardown & Cleaning

Your pool’s filter is its primary defense against cloudy water and algae outbreaks. Over time, filter media becomes clogged with organic debris, oils, sunscreen, and microscopic particles. This not only ruins your water clarity but also forces your pool pump to work much harder, driving up your energy bill and reducing the lifespan of your equipment.

We recommend a complete filter teardown and deep clean every 3 to 6 months to ensure maximum water flow and pristine clarity.

Our comprehensive filter cleaning process includes:

Complete Teardown: Safe depressurization and full disassembly of your filter housing.
Deep Cleaning: Thorough, high-pressure rinsing and chemical degreasing of all cartridge pleats or D.E. grids to remove embedded oils and scale.
Internal Inspection: A detailed visual inspection of the filter manifold, internal elements, and the tank's structural integrity to catch tears or cracks before they cause major issues.
Seal Maintenance: Cleaning and fresh lubrication of the tank's main O-ring to ensure a watertight seal and prevent future air leaks.
D.E. Recharge (If Applicable): For D.E. filters, we include precisely measuring and adding fresh Diatomaceous Earth powder back into the system after reassembly.
Digital Confirmation: Once the system is restarted and optimal pressure is verified, you will receive a digital service report via your Poolcadia Customer Portal, complete with before-and-after photos of your filter internals.

Note: Please select the option below that matches your equipment type (Cartridge or D.E. Filter). If you are unsure what type of filter you have, feel free to contact us or select the standard cartridge option, and we will adjust it upon arrival.
