Refer a friend. Scout a Business. Get MagikBucks either way.
You get rewarded in MagikBucks when you refer a friend who joins DealMagik. You can also refer a local business you love and you would earn MagikBucks for that as well.
Both pay out in MagikBucks — the amount and timing depend on who you refer.
Give $10, get $10
Your friend gets $10 in MagikBucks the moment they verify their phone number and sign up — usable on their first purchase of $20 or more.
Earn $50 for a great find
The business you refer gets a welcome package (waived setup fee or 30 days zero commission) — not MagikBucks.
Three easy steps
Share your link
Log in to your DealMagik account, click on person icon on top right, and select Referral Rewards. Click on Copy Link and share with your friends. Share as many times as needed.
They sign up and qualify
Your friend or the business verifies their phone number and completes signup to DealMagik. You can see if they signed up on the Referral Rewards screen in your account.
You get paid in MagikBucks
Once the trigger for your referral type is met, MagikBucks land in your account — ready to spend on the marketplace.
What makes a friend a new referral
To keep the program fair, a referred friend has to be genuinely new to DealMagik. Sign-up is blocked as a qualifying referral if the new account shares any of the following with one that already exists:
Who can participate
- US based business only
- Shoppers referred must be US shoppers only
- Referring shoppers or referred shoppers must be 18 years or older
Whats MagikBucks?
MagikBucks is DealMagiks built-in rewards currency. You earn it by referring friends, scouting great local businesses, and taking part in platform promotions — then spend it like cash toward purchases anywhere on the DealMagik marketplace.
Frequently asked questions
Who can use the Shopper Referral Program?+
Any DealMagik shopper. You can refer a friend to join as a shopper, or scout a local business you think belongs on the marketplace — both pay out in MagikBucks.
How much do I earn, and when?+
- Refer a friend: Your $10 in MagikBucks is credited to your DealMagik account after your friend completes signup, makes a qualifying purchase and 48-hour refund window closes, or 15 days after signup if they don't cancel.
- Scout a business: Your $50 in MagikBucks lands once the referred business enrolls, publishes at least one deal, and stays active on DealMagik for 30 consecutive days.
What counts as a "new" referral?+
A referred friend must be entirely new to DealMagik — sign-up won't qualify if the new account shares a phone number, credit card or billing address, device ID, or IP address with an existing account. Phone verification is required for every new sign-up.
What businesses can I scout?+
Every referred business goes through a review, and DealMagik reserves the right to decline any that don't meet our eligibility criteria.
Where and how can I share my referral link?+
Share it with people you actually know — direct messages, email, text, or in person. Posting on public sites (Google, Amazon, Reddit, coupon sites) or buying paid ads is not allowed and can get your link deactivated.
Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?+
Yes — you can earn rewards on up to 25 successful friend referrals and 10 successful business referrals per calendar year.
What happens if my friend cancels or gets a refund?+
Your MagikBucks sit in a pending state until 48 hours after your friend's order completes. If they cancel, dispute the charge, or get a refund before then, the pending reward is voided. If you've already received and spent it, DealMagik can deduct the equivalent amount from future MagikBucks you earn.
Do MagikBucks expire? Can I cash them out?+
Referral MagikBucks expire 90 days from the date they're issued. They have no cash value, can't be withdrawn to a bank account, and can't be combined with certain platform-wide promo codes at checkout.
What is MagikBucks?+
MagikBucks is DealMagik's rewards currency, earned through referrals and other promotions and redeemable toward purchases across the marketplace.
Where can I see the full program terms?+
