What started as helping out has grown into a true passion. I’ve carried those early lessons with me and built Ula Mer on the same principles: reliability, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to every client we serve. We understand that a clean space is more than just appearance—it’s peace of mind, comfort, and a fresh start. Brandon Stein2 months agoMy wife and I just returned from celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary at La Mer in Cape May, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. Our room was absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. The hotel itself is immaculate, and both the pool and beach were amazing. Everything was well-kept, peaceful, and made for a perfect getaway. You’re right on the beach you cannot beat the location Thank you to everyone at La Mer for helping make our anniversary so special. We created wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit. We will definitely be back!
Steve Bonaccorsi2 months agoWe had a perfect, three night stay, at the La Mer. We had a direct ocean view room that could not have been better. The room was beautiful, had a great, clean kitchenette, and a wonderful view of the pool, live entertainment on the front lawn, and the ocean. The La Mer lived up to all of the positive reviews that they received. We can’t wait to book a return stay. The location was peaceful and wonderful, yet still a short drive away from the touristy areas, and the staff is excellent. The complimentary umbrella and beach chairs made it all so easy for us and the Pier House restaurant was so nice. I don’t think we’ll ever stay anywhere else in Cape May. It was perfect for us.
Dena Brown3 months agoWe had such a wonderful stay at La Mer Beachfront Resort in Cape May! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful, clean, and well-maintained the property was. The location is perfect, right on the beach, making it incredibly easy to spend the day by the ocean. One of our favorite amenities was the beach service. Having chairs, umbrellas, and towels set up for us, along with the ability to order food and drinks right from our beach chairs, made the experience feel relaxing and effortless. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. While the hotel is definitely on the pricier side, we truly felt like we received what we paid for. The quality of the property, service, and location made it well worth it. If I had to mention a couple of minor downsides, the Wi-Fi was very spotty and barely worked during our stay. Ironically, it turned into a much-needed digital detox that I ended up appreciating! The pool also filled up quickly with families and children, so finding chairs there could be difficult. That said, with such a beautiful beach just steps away, we happily spent most of our time there instead. Cape May itself is such a charming town and makes for the perfect relaxing getaway. We absolutely loved our stay at La Mer and will definitely be back!
AISHA DACOSTA4 months agoThe hotel is wonderful. The location is great - direct access to the beach. Oceanview room with balcony is worth it! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The only complaint was that the bed was not very comfortable - the frame was loud and made noise with the slightest moment. Overall, a great stay and we plan to return soon.
Judy czopor5 months agoWe were delighted with our choice to stay at the La Mer The rooms were great and the cleaning service was top rate. Loved the location. The check in woman was great. However, we ran into a problem with an early checkout. No where in the reservation policy were we made aware of this. Our friends and my husband drove from Ct in one car. My friend injured herself on a walk on our second night. She was in severe pain and had to go to walk in, and they put her on steroids and pain pills following exam. We stayed the next night, and she spent the whole day in bed. We informed the head manager that we had to depart a day early for her to follow up at her doctor. We were told to provide proof of incident, which my friend did. They said they would look into it, but upon checking out we were charged for the early check out. This is off season. I guess money comes before caring. We were so disappointed that we had to leave early, but our friend’s needs are our greatest concern. No one ever got back with us.
