Update: The owner reached out to contact him and I did, and he was super empathetic about my experience and took it very seriously. Right away he rectified with his team to make prenatal massages more comfortable for expecting moms, offering the choice of side laying or the stomach laying with pillow tummy cut out, and to also ensure the massuse takes the intake forms seriously and goes over your pain locations noted. He offered me a full refund and on the house massage which im blown away for the kindness given I didn't have the best experience. I honestly didnt expect to be taken so serious and have the situation handled with such integrity to make sure i felt heard and seen. I definitely will be giving them another chance very soon! I feel so sad to have to give this review, but felt I had to be honest. My prenatal massage today wasn't anything special. Although my masseuse (i dont want to name her to make it worse) was very kind and nurturing, I felt like it definitely wasn't worth $210.00 plus a fair tip. I filled out an intake form but was bummed when none of my pain areas noted were focused on such as sciatica, upper back pain and intense pelvic pain, or even hip joint massage which is a huge pain site for every pregnant woman. I also wish instead of putting my 3rd trimester belly in a hole face down that I had the option to lay on my side to be more comfortable and safer. My baby kicked the entire time so I dont think he liked it. Also a pregnant woman should never have to lay on their backs for more then a few moments let alone about 40 mins. Its dangerous for both baby and mom. My massage wasn't a bad massage for a normal person who wanted to relax, but it definitely did nothing for my pregnancy aches and im upset I paid alot for it thinking it would ease my aches n pains due to pregnancy. I had really looked foward to it and almost didnt book because of the price but I truly needed some type of relief. So im pretty let down. Im sure their other massages are great, the place is immaculate and smells like heaven but for prenatal, was not it today sadly. Please reevaluate how you approach prenatal massages.
I had an amazing experience. The spa is nice and clean, smells great. Annisa, my message therapist was excellent, friendly and calm, clearly passionate about what she does. I was welcomed by Cameron when I arrived, and he was very helpful and made me feel comfortable right away.
My experience here was amazing. As a mom of 3 with one on the way I was in need of some relaxation. I received a prenatal massage, all my needs were met to the best of standards. I will be coming back. Thank you!
I booked a massage through ClassPass here a few months back and was not disappointed! The massage therapist did a great job and really had the perfect deep tissue pressure I was needing for my pain. It was a simple check in experience and everyone was very kind. I felt relaxed and like my pain had truly been alleviated post massage. I have a high pressure tolerance for massages that most people can’t reach, but this place did! I highly recommend them!
I had the opportunity to get a massage at this place. Jenny helped me and it was amazing. She was very kind, her appearance was impeccable, she helped me with my back pain, my muscles feel much better. The place is clean, my room is nice (something I like when I go to get a massage) and the secretary was very attentive and professional. My massage was exactly the full length of time. I loved the extra two hot stones in the painful area, and it ended with a nice hot towel… I sincerely recommend this place. I would say that it is a complete place unlike other places I have been to. Of course! I will go back to get a massage at Somatic Massage!
